Curative Mobile
Testing Van

A Curative Covid-19 Mobile Testing Van comes to Greater Valley Community Services every Wednesday (it will be present for the majority of the workday 9-4pm). Sign up to register for a test at Greater Valley or in the Pittsburgh area HERE!

Community Learning Hub

Greater Valley Community Services is contracted through Allegheny County to provide a center for students in grades K-8 to come during school hours to do their work on days that they are working virtually from home to provide relief for parents working or unable to care for their children during the day. 

Persevere PA

Persevere PA is a COVID-19 crisis counseling program in Pennsylvania. Those feeling stressed, overwhelmed, alone, afraid, or anxious during these uncertain times are encouraged to connect with a crisis counselor by calling the Pennsylvania Support and Referral Helpline at 1-855-284-2494 or 724-631-5600 (TTY). Trained professionals are available 24/7, and calls are free and confidential.

CARES Rent Relief Program

Greater Valley Community Services is contracted through Allegheny County to provide a center for the federal CARES Rent Relief program application. If you have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and need assistance paying late rent or utilities fees, you can come and apply using our computers.

    You are required to bring the following documents with you as proof of effects of the pandemic on your     financial situation: 

  • Unemployment determination letter

  • Lease Agreement

  • utility Bills

  • W2 form/pay stubs

  • Social Security Number

 

       Stop by our CARES Rent Relief Center at these times:

  • Monday/Tuesday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

  • Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
